Sounds like the trial for .24 is going great- I've heard a lot of people having their speed degradation issues fixed.
Because this issue affects a lot of their customers, we would likely see .24 deployed network-wide as soon as possible. Next up on the list to be fixed is UDP packet loss.
Im really hoping Intel is able to fix the UDP packet loss issue as soon as possible, and should be included w/ .24 if fixed soon enough.

I got .24 pushed to me this morning aswell...
So far been a stable connection, but not reaching my top speeds on any device, xbox, desktop, laptop, ect. and still seeing latency bulid up over time and a very slight, signal degridation with speed decrease, but seems to just fluctuate now, doesnt drop to 3Mbps or anything anymore, seems to hover around 31mbps.... which sucks still when I have the 250Mbps package.
Anyways, I will keep and eye on my service today and my DOCSIS logs, and try to keep everyone posted about my findings, I have also dropped a line with @RogersDave letting him know directly my speedtest results and such, so hopefully they will be onto a permanent fix soon.

Is this a black dot modem or not?
There were bugs in earlier firmwares that caused channels that weren't actually there to nonetheless be displayed in the list, possibly as 64-QAM or otherwise. That bug was fixed in either .20 or .23, so now, if you have missing channels, they will actually be missing!
The good news is that you have DOCSIS 3.1 enabled, so really, who cares? The missing D3.0 channel is not going to affect anything unless there is load balancing between 3.0/3.1 happening (which I doubt).
(Keep in mind that I am missing 8 channels on my non-black dot modem and have been missing those 8 channels since D3.1 was deployed here... so... you're ahead of me :))

It's a non-black dot modem. Missing a channel is not a big deal but rebooting really bothers me.
BTW, hard reboot will bring back the missing channel but after reboot by the modem itself the channel will be missed again.

... and I suspect the first thing they will tell you is to replace that modem with a black dot one. The missing channel is likely caused by the interference that the black dot ones are supposed to address.

With as many devices/automated jobs/etc.... I did a quick speed test for you. I haven't rebooted my modem and I'm not one of the devices with this "black dot" I should really look to see what the impact is..

On a side note I always use the modem in bridge mode. Hate their gateway services to be honest... not to mention how buggy they are. Wish I could ask for an actual modem instead of a gateway...

Just did another speed test, here are my results from my laptop sitting about 5ft from the modem on wifi.
As I said before, its a much more stable, but im still getting the degridation and slower coneection over time... thinking im going to have to reboot at some point if it keeps getting less...
even my xbox one is showing this speed on its tests.

@SeanMM and no its not in bridge mode, i seem to have HORRIBLE luck with putting rogers modems into bridge mode... i've like, bricked 3 of them in my life.... they start to reboot and then just freeze up and sit with the power light on and do squat all for hrs.... then i exchange it, lol
I have a Netgear powered switch that controls most of the house, home automation software, and ip sutff... its got 48 ports... i just have the rogers box going into that...
But my main desktop and Xbox One are wired Cat6e direct to the Rogers box aswell, and all devices on wifi are on the Rogers box. My switch just controls everything else.
And for the last week or so, i've had my switch disconnected and not using my home automation software or anything jusst to disclude it from being an issue, and i get the exact same speeds and issues with or without my switch invloved using the Rogers modem in Gateway not Bridge

Yup, I've heard that since being on .24 w/ Bridge Mode, everything has gone more smoother. Once you activate bridge mode you should be all good.

@WestPoint if you're running a switch with no router, the minute you kick the modem into Bridge mode you lose the firewall protection of the modem. In theory, every device on your network will be open to the internet, which I suspect is not what you want to achieve. However, you will probably only see two devices with IPV4 addresses as that is supposed to be the limit that will be assigned. You might see more, but I doubt it. Please let us know if in fact there are more than two devices with IPV4 addresses. If IPV6 was running, every device would have its own IPV6 address.
So what this boils down to is those devices that have IPV4 addresses will be open to the internet which is not good. I'm not sure what state the other devices will be in. They most likely won't an IP address and you shouldn't be able to address them in the case of home automation devices. The other point is that you wouldn't be able to tell which devices grabbed the IP addresses, they probably wouldn't be the ones that you are most concerned about.
So, assuming that you don't have a router in place, you should return the modem to Gateway mode. To do that you can log into the modem, assuming that the pc or laptop has an IP address, and use 192.168.100.1 to navigate to the login page. From there, navigate to BASIC .... GATEWAY FUNCTION and reenable the Residential Gateway Function. The modem will reboot back into Gateway mode with its previous settings intact.

@Datalink As i said, im in gateway already using just a switch, I'm aware it has no firewall.
I would have added an aftermarket router if I was going to use bridge mode,. but as I said before, I've bricked modems before trying to use Bridge mode so i gave up on it years ago and just work with gateway mode and find a work around solution to most of my issues.
As for right now, my issue is still the downstream speed. im getting stable connection now, but still variable speed, between 15mbps and 55mbps and i have the 250 package. Both on my wired desktop using Cat6e cable and my Xbox One using Cat6e.
Also, my Xbox one NAT is showing strict again, even when I had it in DMZ briefly to run a speed test, which also showed about 31Mbps, and in DMZ it should have been open forsure.
I am getting 4K in my downstream, so i should be recieving IPv6, but I realise its still disabled until they get everyone updated and stable, so I cant really trouble shoot anything with that at the moment. I'm faily confident my switch is IPv4 only tho, kinda old now, so I would never risk taking the modem out of gateway.

Switching the Hitron modems into Bridge mode is very easy. I switch mine into and out of Bridge mode on a weekly basis for test purposes, so, although you've had bad luck in the past, don't consider that as a benchmark for todays modems. Thankfully Rogers has included a user switch to do that, while other ISPs force you to go thru tech support or jump thru hoops to get a pass mode running. And in the event that a modem does brick, and I've done that experimenting with the easy connect USB stick, then you trade the modem it. Its a rental, and it simply goes back for overhaul.
Can you check the back of the modem, specifically the connected port LED for the switch and see if its amber which denotes a 1 Gb/s connection, or green, denoting a 100 Mb/s connection. Perhaps the switch itself is limiting the throughput?

Have you tried a different cable? Cat 6e is non-standard.

Ok I'll bite....
If your wifi devices, xbox, etc are connected to your modem then you are utilizing the firewall on the modem. (basic, but there). If you have your switch connected to your modem then the IP address assignment is coming from your modem via its DHCP server. It doesn't sound like your are running dhcpd or an AD server in your house..... or statically assigning 48 unique devices.
Don't use wifi for speed tests.... you can be to close, to far, to strong, to much noise, etc to really understand your speeds. Best speed test is over a gig interface using a CAT6 cable.
What are your wired speeds? (Don't use your xbox for speed tests) beta.speedtest.net has a nice HTML5 interface... (try more then one server)
If all of the devices in your house are on the 192.168.*.* then DHCP is coming from somewhere... chances are its the CODA
