I do have gigabit service. Thanks for your reply. Ill wait another few weeks or a month and then hopefully everything is better. 

I have the CGNM-3552. I a bit satifised at the moment but if theres a hardware out there that will give me better speeds then why not. But I been seeing a lot of people having problems with it, so not to sure if I should swap as of yet. 

is it safe to get this modem or should I wait still?
