Other than cost.Like many of the other apps added lately, they are generally 'free to watch' streaming services.. which mean that in general there is no licensing fees, etc around the content.. the end user is allowed to watch pretty much not strings...
it might be something else... bad signal to the router? or something local like a problem at a node, etc.

With band steering on (necessary to use the pods), both SSIDs for 2.4 and 5 are the same. The device will grab which is best/strongest.
