Yes im using the CODA as my DHCP server, too dificult to manually manage all my stuff when im consistantly upgrading and adding and moving things.....
As for the speed tests, yea ive been using Cat6 on my wired desktop, but I was having some issues and working on my desktop when i used my laptop wifi for those tests.
I will continue to try to trouble shoot and use the new beta test interface and see if i can get my speed up abit more.
My test this morning, after also doing a hard reboot, unplugged for 1 full min, fully connected to rogers network before plugging in each device one at a time, my desktop, then xbox, then switch.... my speed at 10am or so was about 50Mbps download and 20Mbps upload.
Going to try to a few more tests with my devices disconnected again and see what happens, but the last two week, wether my switch and xbox were connected or not, Ive gotten about the same results.

@SeanMM Yea at .24 and yes i have a direct line to my modem, not shared with any cable boxes.
Rogers Senior tech was at my house twice last week and run all ne lines from the junction down the street all the way to my modem.... got my signal from -9.6 to -7.1 so that realy helped, but still not getting my speed on .24...
@RogersDave sent me a PM sugessting another factory reset now with v.24 and connect just my desktop and test the connection then start adding things one at a time like I did after hard boot this morning and see what happens, going to try it abit alater when I dont need my net running, just kinda hard mid day with all y ip reliant devices and stuff going offline any period of time.
Also on another note he sugessted using the rogers speed test site instead, becase speedtest.net doesnt log on the rogers server and doesnt provide as much info for the rogers team to work with.
So this is the one they'd prefer we use to test;

Do you know how much traffic is coming from the other devices? Smart devices are low bandwidth, but high number of connections (depending on the device). Testing with ONLY your desktop connected is a good test, but might not make a difference.
Do you still start off strong after a reboot and slowly get bad speeds?

Hello!
I've been having some major issues with latency and packet loss since changing to the CODA-4582, specifically with uploading. I'm a broadcaster (live streaming) and so rely on a stable connection. Since I was unable to revert back to the old modem, @RogersHelps (Twitter support) suggested I post here to hopefully gain access to the 0.24 firmware trial as I'd like to see if that helps. Please let me know how I can go about doing that ASAP!

@pstorto and @MegnaGaming, please see the following post to request the trial firmware for the CODA-4582:
02-20-2017 05:38 PM
Hi @pstorto and @MegnaGaming, to join the firmware trial please send a private message to @CommunityHelps. There should be a red-button to the right of the profile saying "SEND THIS USER A PRIVATE MESSAGE." Click on that and fill out the message subject with Rogers Rocket Wi-Fi Modem Firmware Trial. In the message body, please let them know you want to join the firmware trial.
After you send that message, will send you a message w/ a list of terms in which you must accept by sending them a reply stating that you acknowledge the terms.
They will reply to you again asking for your, account number, postal code, modem serial number, and and MAC Address. Have those ready and once you have given them the information it could take a a week (but usually a day) since .24 contains a high-priority fix.

Been online for two days now without rebooting. I've only gotten the one warning. How many of those messages have you seen @fearless90? Is it impacting performance?

From what I've been told. There is an exclusion list that my modem wasn't apart of. During the weekly checks, my modem was found and flashed back to the current release which is .19.
I need to be added to the exclusion and pushed .24 or .27 out...
Waiting to hear back from @CommunityHelps or @RogersDave

@SeanMM @CommunityHelps @RogersDave
My service went out last night too, not sure when, it was off at 7am this morning when i woke up... t3 time out, but i didnt jump back firmware, still on .24
Was still getting IP Address to my deviceds and was able to login to the modem and do a soft reboot, but still very strange that ill loose the internet but keep the LAN going and ALL my lights are on on the modem, even still have purple and blue lights on download and upload, but couldnt even load google.ca

I'm having a heck of a time getting 24 pushed to me again. Ugh...
02-21-2017 07:40 AM
@SeanMM I wonder if more people have jumped back to v.19 this morning as well... because my serivce appears to have Timed out at 11:30pm last night, maybe this 5am triggered reset you got, I avoided, lmao
anyways... v.24 isnt the last fix and sure is far from fully working... even after extensive testing yesterday, I cant get abve about 50Mbps ... even after hard boots and testing with ONLY my wired desktop connected, all other devices disconnected and my Wifi SSID and Passwrod changed to avoid any auto-connections.... testing immediatly after loading, and every hour... speed just fluctuates between 30 and 50Mbps...

@SeanMM I COMPLETE UNDERSTAND !!!
I as well have a senior citizen living with me, and I have IP devices for her for emergancy response and what not, and they are basically useless if Im not here to litterally watch the network for her...
