Exact same thing with me. Had the 250u for years and consistently getting 250Mbps, but had the unfortunate idea to "upgrade" to 500u and now won't get more than 150mbps. Extremely unhappy with the service.

Same issue here... got this CODA modem today and when I put it into bridge mode, my Linksys router would not work... had to reset the CODA to go back to default settings. Very frustrating.
I just upgraded my Internet service today and got the new CODA-4582U modem. Tried to set it up to bridge mode and am experiencing the exact same problem that you described - third party hardware will not work... so frustrating.
