I believe lethalsniper is still on the CGN3 modem.

I did some test with one of my neighbor that upgraded to 4582.
I am still on the CGN3ACMR just like you
We ran the test in Counter-Strike Global Offensive
Joined the same server
First server:
71 ping for me
65 ping for him
Second server:
40 ping for me
55 ping for him
Third server:
45 ping for me
50 ping for him
so far not very impressed with lantency, I am still upgrading to the 4582 on December 22, I believe with the new firmwares and the release of DOCSIS 3.1 is when we will the see the real potential of the new modem.

I have a quick question, are you wired or wireless?
12-20-2016 04:34 PM
Both me and my neighbor were wired during the test.

And doing the test from your modem what latency were you getting?

From my current CGN3ACMR

I've ran all the test before, my goal was just to compare the 2 modems in online gaming envirnoment hoping the new modem would be much better.
I will do a lot of testing as soon as I get the new modem 4582 on Dec 22.

My CGN3 results (500u plan). Wired.
As you can see, I'm reluctant to switch modems and see this drop significantly. I haven't seen anything that tells me the new modem is likely to improve my results.

It's interesting to see what Rogers Speedtest from OOKLA does compared to the OOKLA Speedtest using Rogers Toronto as the server in question.

Provisionning issue has been finnaly resolved - it took a while so prepare to wait if it happends to you.
I'm on 1Gig plan and Docsis 3.0
Here are my initial observations comparing to 3552:
5G signal much weaker
5G signal slower
2.4G signal much stronger
2.4G signal faster
Wired speed up and down faster, this is my best result:

Hi. I am having an issue accessing NAS from Android devices.
There are 3 NAS devices, all Drobos. The first is attached to my main computer with USB, the second is connected to my main computer with ISCSI and the third is connected directly to the router.
I am trying to connect with 2 Android devices. The first is a Asus Zenpad and the second a Nexus 9. I am using the 2.4 ghz wireless connection for the Zenpad and the 5 ghz connection for the Nexus.
I am using ES file explorer pro and also Solid explorer.
I can initially login to all 3 NAS drives from both Androids and see my shared directories. However, the login fails if I try to access a subdirectory with a lot of content (say over 100 files) or if I try to open a file from a directory that I can access (with say a dozen files).
Trying to access a larger directory gives me the standard login fails message:
"Login fails
This may be caused by:
WLAN is off
SMB server is out of network scope
The IP is invalid
Blocked by the firewall
SMB service is off"
Trying to access a file results in it just hanging (video) or a failure to copy the file (books). I've tried multiple files and directories.
So I can login (I was having some problems with the 2 drobos attached to the main computer but that's a know Windows 10 glitch that I've gotten around by logging in with my local account name) to all 3 drobos from both Androids and see all the various directories and access most directories but trying to access directories to a larger volume of files then gives me a login error and any files I can access won't play or copy.
Before upgrading the modem I could consistently access the networked drobo (I hadn't figured out the Windows 10 glitch yet for the 2 drobos attached to the computer so I couldn't access those but that was a separate problem that is now resolved).
I have a second networked computer that connects to all 3 drobos fine, including all directories and plays all files.
On an unrelated note, I also have the green (100) connection issue with my 1st network port but I've just got the home phone plugged into that one so it should not be impacting anything. My speed is about 775 download (I can get around 900 depending on the time) and 25 upload (doesn't change much based on time).
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,
