Hello Community,
We are currently offering our users an exclusive opportunity to participate in an upcoming trial of the new firmware for our Rocket Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3ACR, CGN3AMR and CGN3ACSMR) and Rocket Gigabit Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3552 and CODA-4582). For details of this program, please see this thread.
This thread will be used for feedback regarding the firmware. We've invited @RogersSergio, @RogersSyd & @RogersBob from our Networking team to participate in this thread. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to enhance the firmware before it is released publicly.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.

CODA-4582 Hardware version 1A and firmware 2.0.10.20.
On your "DOCSIS WAN" page, check for low SNR values. This happened to me yesterday evening. I was getting 8Mbps down (for the first time since using the CODA and .20 firmware) and saw that one of my port IDs had an SNR of "4", whereas, all other values were between 38-41. A reboot fixed my issue.

using the coda-4582 got updated to the 2.0.10.23 firmware and on the gigabit plan since august upgraded to the new modem in december I believe it was and was hopeful this new firmware update would fix gaming issues but still random 1-2 second delays in league of legends and random spikes while playing diablo 3 getting frustrating considered switching to bell but hopeful rogers can fix there service 😕

Well, I don't know what happened but this update messed up my Google Services. I can't access either Youtube, Play Store, or any Google apps on my Android phone.

Could be a DNS issue, have you tried rebooting the phone?

@ValentynL I was getting loss of connection for the whole internet until I did a factory reset on the modem. Have you done that yet? There may be issues with old settings conflicting with the new firmware.

1. Log into your modem.
2. Click the ‘Basic’ menu option at the top of the page, within the main menu
3. Click the ‘DNS’ menu option within the secondary menu that appears
4. Change the ‘LAN DNS Obtain:’ option to manual
5. Enter DNS1: 208.67.222.222
6. Enter DNS2: 208.67.220.220
7. Save your changes

So I completed a factory reset after receiving .23 firmware. The SSID password no longer accepts special characters such as @ & Was this on purpose or a new bug

I have also tried a factory reset multiple times, to no avail.
I have also restarted all of my devices numerous times too.
I am clueless as to what's going on.

So it's definitely not a Google-side issue.

@ValentynL, I just had a look and I know exactly what is going on. It is localised to your CMTS (and mine since we are on the same). Working on getting this corrected right now.

I backed up before factory reset. My password has special characters. Initial setting does not allow special characters but when I restored my backup, the special characters from the backup still works.

.23 in bridge mode.
I am finding the downstream speed a bit slower than previous firmware.
Used to get 930 solid, now I'm getting around 850 average with more variable speeds for the duration of the test.

Unfortunately I did not take a backup on the previous firmware, and I'm now unable to restore my old SSID and password: no special characters or even spaces are allowed. If anyone figures out a solution please let me know!
