Hello Community,
We are currently offering our users an exclusive opportunity to participate in an upcoming trial of the new firmware for our Rocket Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3ACR, CGN3AMR and CGN3ACSMR) and Rocket Gigabit Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3552 and CODA-4582). For details of this program, please see this thread.
This thread will be used for feedback regarding the firmware. We've invited @RogersSergio, @RogersSyd & @RogersBob from our Networking team to participate in this thread. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to enhance the firmware before it is released publicly.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.

I've disconnected everything but the laptop that is wired
Here is the speedtest to the wired laptop 250/20

So your downlink speed increased from 50 Mbps to roughly 250 Mbps?

Your downlink speed is now roughly 330 Mbps. Is this an improvement (you didn't mention the speed you were getting before)?
I have a few more things I want to check in your respective areas.

Dave, can you please update the 2.0.10.13
Hitron CODA Series

@RogersDave with the older modem I was getting 700Mpbs -800Mpbs

Average home users still have wireless N cards in their devices, where 50-60 mbps is the average rater of them. You would need a AC card to achieve anything higher on wireless. All speed tests shuld be done wired into the router/modem, always.

I have the new pixel XL. There are some issues with wifi I believe but nothing I can find. I have the new modem and I am experiencing frequent wifi drops on the 5ghz band
Mythen,
I too did notice some strange behavior between the Pixel and the 5 GHz band. Having the latest and greatest Android software (7.1.1 NMF26Q) seems to make a small difference.
I am currently running a full set of traces (phone debug, gateway debug, tcpdump, radio interface capture) to understand the interaction and we are discussing with Hitron, Qualcomm and Google on this one for a quick resolution.

Are you running tests on my modem?
I checked settings earlier when you reported your Pixel issue but I'm not doing anything now. I know some people are looking into your "power light" issue as well.
Was there an issue or you saw an entry in the modem logs?

Hey @RogersDave!
I'd like to be a part of the new beta firmware program for the Hitron CODA-4582.
I would also like to report that the new modem has been great so far and it has been able to keep a stable connection between my media server and my TV without a problem. Same goes towards streaming and loading web pages.
HOWEVER, the Wi-Fi range in the 5Ghz Band has decreased dramatically when compared to the CGN3AMR.
Hope it gets fixed soon! 🙂

@RogersDave all of a sudden my modem is back to a snails pace this afternoon:

My modem is on but the internet light isn't and I have no internet access. When I check the docsic wan page it says Network Access Denied.
Also the last 3 things on docsis event are:
TLV-11 unrecognized OID
Config file rejected due to invalid or unexpected TLV 11
Sync timing synchronization failure loss of sync
EDIT: Restarted modem and it's now working

ValentynL, what channel are you on? And what channel width are you using?
