Hello Community,
We are currently offering our users an exclusive opportunity to participate in an upcoming trial of the new firmware for our Rocket Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3ACR, CGN3AMR and CGN3ACSMR) and Rocket Gigabit Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3552 and CODA-4582). For details of this program, please see this thread.
This thread will be used for feedback regarding the firmware. We've invited @RogersSergio, @RogersSyd & @RogersBob from our Networking team to participate in this thread. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to enhance the firmware before it is released publicly.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.

Just got 2.0.10.33T11 pushed to my modem. T11 is a large leap from T03. I wonder what's new.

Hey Everyone,
I just had 2.0.10.33T11 pushed to my CODA modem. Does anyone know what features/fixes it has?
Thanks

@RyzenFX Just got it as well!
We will need to wait for @RogersBob to update us on what's new with T11.

I'm not sure? But I am part of the trial participants. We will see something at some point.

Sorry for the delayed in providing an update.
The latest firmware pushed out for the CODA devices is 2.0.10.33T11
Although there is a large "T" version jump we have only implemented a WiFi fix.
During our rollout of the 2.0.10.33T03 code we discovered an issue with a subset of devices in the field which caused wifi to stop working.
Please let us know if you run into any issues especially on WiFi
Thank you all for your ongoing support and feedback

Hi there,
When I was using Rev 1A with 2.0.10.33T03, I came across wifi problems on 4582U. I have a recent post from few days ago regarding this.
Following to one of your peers recommendation I have replaced my router to a Rev 2A and since things seems to work flawless even on 2.0.10.33T03. Is there any chance the bug fix is intended for Rev 1A only ?

@Datalink its actually a browser called Maxthon... been using it on all my devices since 2007. Exclusively.
I mean, i have edge and chrome installed, but only to check once and a while if anything is different on a site not loading quite right, usualy not, I've had great success with it. I dont want to sound like a commercial for it, but its always been there for me.
I have checked with chrome and gotten similar results to Maxthon, but Ill be honest, I dont think I have ever opened Edge on this or on any computer, ever, lol, not since IE5 atleast. lol But Ill give her a shot tomorrow and see what happens

I am still trying to get up to speed so haven't had a chance to go to far back but I did see your last post about the TV Wi-Fi issue; not sure if that was the issue you were referring to.
As for the fix delivered in 2.0.10.33T03; that was for all CODA devices it was not hardware specific. It resolved a bug where users were unable to authenticate to their Wi-Fi networks.
Cheers,
RogersSergio

Just got the 2.0.10.33T11 update and I'm struggling to get past 500Mbps download. I'm on the Gigabit package and haven't had issues before the update. Tried resetting all my equipment but still having the same issue.
Edit: Looks like I just had to restart my PC. Everything working fine now, false alarm.

Hi There
Did you call into support to exchange the modem or go to a Rogers store?
I too have one of the 4582U with 28T firmware (Hardware revision 1A).
Thanks

Replaced through the store

No, I didn't lose any channel with firmware version 33T11 (Coda 4582 revision A1). I'm not able to run the DSLReports test though, I get an error at the that says network error getting grades. Other than that the firmware is stable and there are definite improvements in latency and download/upload rate over .28T2.

Has any progress been made towards the enhancement request of enabling read-only SNMP access to the modem metrics?
I suspect that this would be of great benefit to those of us who have the ability to use this information and may also be helpful in detection of gradually degrading link quality by capturing long-term data.

All,
Looking to understand how the 2.0.10.33T11 code soak is going?
Would like to understand if anyone has run into any Wifi or other challenges with this code.
So far there have been a few notes shared that we are looking into but wanted to know if there is anything else that may not have been shared yet.
Thanks,
RogersSergio
