Hello Community,
We are currently offering our users an exclusive opportunity to participate in an upcoming trial of the new firmware for our Rocket Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3ACR, CGN3AMR and CGN3ACSMR) and Rocket Gigabit Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3552 and CODA-4582). For details of this program, please see this thread.
This thread will be used for feedback regarding the firmware. We've invited @RogersSergio, @RogersSyd & @RogersBob from our Networking team to participate in this thread. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to enhance the firmware before it is released publicly.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.

Yea it seems to be a consistent complaint in bridge mode for some reason. It may not be your modem though it could be the local node having problems. The only time my internet goes down is when we get firmware updates..so not too often

Gateway mode didn't help anything. Did a factory reset as well.
Saturday night was especially bad. Stupid high latency and sub 100Mb speeds.
Several "No Ranging Response" in modem logs. I'd check the logs now but the web interface is down again.
Why does the modem web interface keep dying? Why does latency and speeds eventually go bad requiring a reboot.
I haven't seen anything like this since I started with gigabit service last year.
I had a 99.245.x.x address forever and it recently went to 174.113.x.x. I seem to have more issues ever since it changed. Probably coincidence.
If it's the firmware I will gladly drop to something more stable.

Since Dave left it really turned into a Ghost town over here, would be nice to have some answers on the new beta firmware , to see if it's getting close to beta testing.

37T2 testing has been completed. We ran into a few bugs which unfortunately prevented us from distributing it here.
We are now in the midst of testing our next version of CODA code which has OFDMA support and Band Steering enabled by default.
The introduction of OFDMA and the changes to the default Wi-Fi configuration may have a big impact to some users so we are spending extra cycles internally testing. This in turn delays the release to our community here, I do apologize.
We want to get the firmware in your hands to get your much valued feedback, it just isn’t ready yet.

Does this mean you are skipping 37T2 and just moving onto the new build instead? Also did you have any comments on if Rogers will be using Low Latency Docsis? https://www.cablelabs.com/low-latency-docsis
Thanks for the update

Thanks for the update @RogersIan

@RogersIan will the guest account login problems be addressed in this upcoming version?
OFDMA, looking forward to this .... woohoo !!

Apparently not too long ago my CODA picked up an additional upstream channel.

Interesting. Did your Internet go down for a bit and when it came back up the fourth channel appeared?
I'm assuming deployment of .37T2 will happen soon now that testing has been completed?

Why is Band Steering being enabled by default?

Still 3 here:

1 | 30596000 | ATDMA - 64QAM | 38.250 | 1 | 6400000 |
2 | 38596000 | ATDMA - 64QAM | 42.250 | 3 | 3200000 |

Are we getting close to the new beta firmware?
02-20-2019 03:07 PM
@mcsandy @RyzenFX .37T2 has been scrapped. It was our initial Band Steering build, but we found issues with the code which prevented its release.
The new code currently in test will be our next release.
@JohnBeaudin No release date I apologize. The code brings a few big changes so we are taking our time with testing.
@Datalink Good news the Guest network issue where clients attempting to connect receive an error on the first try looks to be resolved.

@RogersIan does this next release also bring in the frequency extension up to 1.2 Ghz?

Not much activity for the past 2 weeks, Let's hope for more action in March!
Fingers crossed for the new firmware.

Hello, @aube.
We appreciate your participation in the firmware trial. We can assist in excluding your modem from the trial; please send us a PM at @CommunityHelps.
Cheers,

It's been almost 5 weeks since your last post, are we getting closer to deploying the firmware to beta users?
