Hello Community,
We are currently offering our users an exclusive opportunity to participate in an upcoming trial of the new firmware for our Rocket Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3ACR, CGN3AMR and CGN3ACSMR) and Rocket Gigabit Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3552 and CODA-4582). For details of this program, please see this thread.
This thread will be used for feedback regarding the firmware. We've invited @RogersSergio, @RogersSyd & @RogersBob from our Networking team to participate in this thread. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to enhance the firmware before it is released publicly.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.

Hello, I play CS:GO mostly and today my ping/ms randomly started spiking from 60-110 and it went back and forth between these two numbers, which makes it impossible to play. I checked my router and it says software version is 4.5.8.33. Any fixes?
EDIT: My connection is wired with the router,

As with the previous poster, I have had ping issues in Overwatch the past couple of days. Ideally I get 35-40ms to the servers, but it's been at around 40-150ms, with average being around 60ms. Yesterday it was at 120+ms steadily for a couple of hours, then dropped to around 60ms, then back up to 100ms+.
Not sure if it has to do with the modem/.33T3 firmware, or high traffic in my area (I play on a wired connection, nothing else running that should cause spiking ping.) I've rebooted the modem to see if it would help, but my ping was still high afterwards.
I'll try to test during off-peak hours, like during the middle of the night, to see if my ping is better.
Edit: just tested in game, my ping seems fine. Ranging around 35ms-50ms. Not sure what may have been causing the issues.

So far so good for me with .33T3.
2 and a half days and no reboot. WiFi access from laptop after wake up is back to normal as well.

@RogersDave Any word on support of USB 3 on Coda? I have a WD MyBook and at this point it is still not seen my coda when directly plugged in. If it should be working now, please let me know and I'll do more investigation.
thanks

@hoopdogg, Dave is still waiting for a firmware update from Intel and Hitron that resolves the USB 3 support problem. Here is Dave's latest comments on this:

EDIT: My connection is wired with the router,
I noticed the same issue. Average ping times in HoTS are up by some 40ms with this firmware. I used to get much lower average ping times (~60ms) with firmware version .28T2. Median downstream bufferbloat is down with this firmware though by some 250ms.
I haven't had any random reboots with this firmware.
