Hello Community,
We are currently offering our users an exclusive opportunity to participate in an upcoming trial of the new firmware for our Rocket Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3ACR, CGN3AMR and CGN3ACSMR) and Rocket Gigabit Wi-Fi Modem (CGN3552 and CODA-4582). For details of this program, please see this thread.
This thread will be used for feedback regarding the firmware. We've invited @RogersSergio, @RogersSyd & @RogersBob from our Networking team to participate in this thread. Your feedback is very valuable and will be used to enhance the firmware before it is released publicly.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.

Here's as quick test. Uplink bufferbloat is pretty good compared to .26T2. There are no improvements in downlink bufferbloat.
Are my signal levels within range? I'm in a DOCSIS 3.1 enabled area.

@soundwave80 can you log in to the modem and post the DOCSIS WAN page stats for signal levels. also I would advise you call tech support when this happens and ask them to check your stats and your neighbours to see if this is a local issue.

New release 2.0.10.27 has been pushed to my CODA
From the first glance:
1. Wireless - cannot save any changes, getting a red error
2. IP Camera that always worked with Rocket and other modems - not getting IP and not registered
3. Guest WiFi - cannot save a thing and Guest WiFi gives the same "DHCP client" error
4. In Connected Devices - I see all devices under Ethernet and none under 2.4 or 5.8 though I'm connected with multiple devices
Possibly I need reset device and reconfigure again - will try later tonight

@gennadiv don't factory reset, if you factory reset you will be put back on .26T2 firmware.
I would do a reboot, just unplug the modem for 10 seconds, then try the wifi settings again.

Using CGN3AMF on Fido 60/10
Got upgrade today from the stock firmware to 4.5.8.27
Download speed very good, upload only 1-1.5 instead of 10

Hi @RogersDave. I screwed up and did a reset on my modem and the firmware reverted to .26t2. Could you please resend .27 when you get a chance? Thank You

Any progress on USB port? I could really use network drive on CODA modem.

@flash999, if you haven't done so already, reboot or restart the modem. Pull the power, wait for 30 seconds and power it back up again. Then, run a speedtest at the www.speedtest.net site using the Rogers Toronto or Montreal server, depending on which is closer to your home.

Just got the 2.0.10.27 firmware on my CODA-4582. I was constantly getting disconnected in the game For Honor after switching to this modem. Like, every single match...I couldn't complete even one game.
Happy to report this firmware update has fixed whatever the issue was and I haven't experienced a single disconnect in over 5 games so far.

The CODA modem with the new firmware is better by a long shot than my old CGN3 modem, but it's not good enough for games. I still get disconnects every now and then when playing HoTS. The downstream bufferbloat on this modem even with the latest firmware is terribly high. I'm comparing it to my neighbor's SmartRG SR505N on a DSL 25 service.

I just finished playing a few HoTS games and I got disconnected in every one of them. I hope they fix this disconnection issue with the next firmware for the CODA modem. Otherwise, perhaps I should switch back to DSL.

Whenever Dave is not online, it seems that he is working on making our Internet service better. He's probably busy with a lot of things right now.
@OL1v3r Have you tried opening the UDP ports for HoTS? I have searched for these UDP ports you can open, which are provided by Blizzard: 1119, 6113, 1120, 80, 3724

Why don't you upgrade to the CODA modem? With firmware .27, the CODA modem is quite good, compared to my old CGN3 modem.
