ignite tv/modem setup

getting the ignite tv/internet on tuesday saw this in a post [You can still perform the basic configuration of your Ignite gateway using a web browser but there are some configuration actions that can only be performed using the iOS or Android mobile app.] and was wondering i only have windows 11 and no access to  iOS or Android will i be able to setup the 3tvs that i have or am i going to have to get somekind of phone/tablet to do this with?

Once the new wifi is setup., there is no other configuration needed in the modem for the wireless TV boxes. 

Once the TV boxes are wireed up then yopu can enter the TV boxe's wifi confiruation by following this guide line:

Also:

On the remote:  hold down the exit button for 5 seconds, then down arrow twice and then type 9434 (it spells WIFI) should bring you into the wifi settings for the Xi6

You can perform a basic setup of the Ignite Gateway using just a computer and a web browser: https://communityforums.rogers.com/t5/Internet/How-to-Set-up-Ignite-Internet-Without-Smartphone/td-p...

However, if you should ever need to install Ignite Pods to extend your Wi-Fi coverage, or configure more advanced functions, then you will need a mobile device to run the Ignite HomeConnect app.

As for your Ignite TV set-top boxes -- set up your Ignite Gateway first, BEFORE powering up your set-top boxes.  Once the Gateway is up and running and you have Wi-Fi connectivity, you simply need to connect the new set-top box to your TV with an HDMI cable, select that input on your TV, then power up the set-top box.  The Ignite TV set-top boxes will obtain their Wi-Fi credentials automatically and connect to the network.

getting my ignite tv and upgraded my net to 1.5 today and was wondering i saw that streaming was going to be a freebie for 24mnts if i upgraded to the 1.5 but on the confermation order for what i am getting today i didnt see it listed and was never mentioned to me when i called in to place my order.

will this be an auto add on or am i going to have to call in again to get it added?

@hiho  Ignite Streaming is a service that Rogers offers to customers who subscribe to Ignite Internet but not Ignite TV.

As an Ignite TV customer, you also get access to those same streaming services in the Apps section of your set-top box, addition to Ignite TV.
