Android lookup local name resolution when using Ignite Gen 2 equipment

abe1231
I've been here awhile

While it is possible to resolve names of other hosts on local network when using Ignite Gen2 equipment as a router in Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS(albeit after postfixing name with .locla ), android even with disabled secure DNS does not appear to do this. What is the solution aside from setting up my own router, publishing local IPs to public DNS or configuring Inite gen 2 to issue reserved IPs and accessing hosts using those IPs?

This problem is not new and similar experience is described here(don't think ping is relevant)

Yet no resolution published

We do not know if that was ever solved.
