Last Mile Hardware Optimization + Questions

I've been around

Hello,
I'm experiencing quick and random drops on ethernet or together affecting both business and leisure uses like conference calling, streaming high quality video, or gaming.  I've had a few support visits to correct the issue, yet it persists. I currently have the TG4482A Gateway.

The first visit consisted of corrective work inside the house to remove a splitter the original tech who installed the gateway put in, however this tech failed to check the line from the node to the grey box. (even though he said he was going to)

The second visit checked this line and it was damaged so he ran a new cable from the node to the grey box which is awaiting to be buried in spring.

That leaves the Gateway, the cable from the gateway to the grey box and the rogers node itself which is not too far away.

I'll post some technical information below, any assistance or advice is greatly appreciated.

Ethernet Cable:
Jadaol cat6 TIA / EIA568B Flat Ethernet cable

Gateway:
Plugged directly into wall, on open surface.

Are there better quality coax cables I can purchase to have installed?
Can the length of these cables be shortened to improve signal quality?
If the issue is the node, what is the process for repair?
Does anyone have a free genie wish to grant me FTTH?

@whateveraTw435q Overall, your signal levels look fine.  However, if you look at your error stats, there are a large number of uncorrectable codewords errors on just a few of your downstream QAM channels.  Hard to say how impactful this would be overall but definitely something that Rogers should look into.  I would advise sending a private message to @CommunityHelps .
