Internet coverage spotty with Gen2 modem

I've been around

Hi, I am using the Gen2 rogers modem for wifi. I switched from Bell to Rogers earlier this year I was hoping this new modem will be good enough to cover a 1400 sq feet 2 story house. However the coverage is spotty at best and devices that are further away do not get any wifi. Can you provide some solution please?

@gsingh1984 Where in your home do you have your Ignite Gateway installed?  If you go to a location in your home where the Wi-Fi coverage is poor, is there anything between you and the gateway that could be blocking the Wi-Fi signal?  (e.g. duct work behind the walls, large mirrors or mirrored closet doors, mesh underlay under ceramic tiles, etc.)

I have seen the Gen2 (XB7) gateway provide decent Wi-Fi coverage in fairly large homes (without Pods to expand Wi-Fi coverage) but it needs to placed in a location where the signal can reach all areas of the home without being blocked.
