HP Lasterjet Pro CP1525nw won't print wirelessly since changing to Rogers Ignite

ATS1971
I've been around

As stated in the subject line, I recently switched to Rogers and I can no longer printer wirelessly from laptop or cell phone.  The printer obtains an IP address however neither my laptop or cellphone are able to see the device on the network.

Hello, @ATS1971

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums!

I can understand how important it is to get your wireless printer working properly. Older wireless devices may have trouble connecting to wireless networks that have band steering enabled. You can disable band steering by changing the name of the 2.4G Wi-Fi network so that it is different from that of the 5G network. You can see the steps on how to manage band steering here.

Once separated, you can try to connect your printer to the 2.4G Wi-Fi network. If you are using Wi-Fi Pods then you cannot disable band steering.

Let us know if disabling band steering on your Gateway resolves this issue.
