Total TV Service

Nicelady
I've been around

We are new customers to Roger’s for about one week.    We have trouble from day 1.    We had to get a repair person in on day 3 because the system kept freezing up.  We purchased the flex 10 package and have not been able to access the system due to technical issues since day 1   When we call in they say they can do the changes for us.   Fair enough but we don’t know what is included in the package.  P Very frustrating.  Then it is explained  that the flex 10 means that you have to switch out channels.  The nice man who came to the door to sell it to us forgot to tell us that.    Unfortunately the flex channels seem to be the best of the package with no allowance to switch out.  So I contacted the nice man who came to the door and he is sorry for our trouble.   For more money he can upgrade us to the total package but we can’t find any info on the total package.     I don’t trust the nice man and in searching this forum I can see that the total package is a bit of a secret.    Why is it so hard to get straight forward info on what Rogers is selling?   So far it’s not impressive.

@Nicelady There is a VERY big difference between the Flex 10 and Total TV packages.

With Flex 10, you get 30 (or so) basic channels and in addition to that, you also select 10 specialty channels from a pool of Flex Channels.  On November 1, 2023, Rogers stopped selling their existing Ignite TV packages and they introduced new fixed channel packages: Starter, Popular TV and Total TV.  Details about those packages can be found here: https://www.rogers.com/internet/ignite-bundle-packages

With Total TV, you get more than 150 channels.  That's a huge leap from what you currently have.  Popular TV may also be a good fit for you.

You can send a private message to @CommunityHelps  and ask them to send you a printable channel guide for the new channel packages in your area.  If you decide that you want to upgrade to one of the new Ignite TV bundles, they can help you with that as well.

I plan to stick around

I need to correct somthinf in the reply.  They indicated you get more than 150, but it could be as low as 131 depending on your location.  I am NOT getting anywhere near 150.
