Ignite WiFi Gateway (Gen 3) Modem and VPN

I had a 7-year old modem. getting 20MB/s on downloads using Nord VPN

Upgraded to the new modem and new Ultimate 1GB package.  Download speeds of 20 KiB

Run speedtest.net and with VPN on it tells me 878MB/s

Reset the modem to factory. Reconfigured etc.  No change.

What else can I do to fix the issue ?
