BLocking a device wired/wifi

Tigerwool
I've been around

I have been a long time customers with Rogers.

My kids are growing up and they have made new friends like Youtube, Tiptok who are more buddy than I do.

Some questions which I need to get answers ASAP.

a.) How to block a device from connecting internet (laptop how to identify them on the device list) both WIFI and wired (RG45)?

b). How to block sites (Youtube, Tiptok , kidcbc...)

c). How to restrict connection time.

My gateway is 10.0.0.1 and I connect with a network cable with the router, I was there inside but does not seem what I expect.

Thank you all for your advice.

Hello, @Tigerwool.

We welcome you to our Community and thank you for posting concerns about Internet usage and parental controls.

We understand the importance of managing your children's online activity and want to assist you in setting appropriate restrictions.

You need to download the Rogers Xfinity app from the Google Play or App Store and sign in using your MyRogers username and password.

While you can't block specific websites/apps, you can pause WiFi access to devices/profiles, schedule downtimes, set active time limits, etc.

Pause WiFi Access with the Rogers Xfinity App

Setting Time Limits with the Rogers Xfinity App

Use Downtime Scheduler with Rogers Xfinity app

Use the Rogers Xfinity app to turn on parental controls

Let us know if you have further questions.

Cheers,

RogersMoin
