Business internet at home?

jcoll83ca
I'm here a lot

Hello,

Due to covid-19 I am working from home however the 30 megabit upload isn't quite enough. I noticed that with business internet plans you can get 50 megabit. I know it's only an extra 20 megabit but it would definitely make a difference. Is it at all possible to get a business internet plan at home?. Thanks!

Hello @jcoll83ca,

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums.

I understand how important faster upload speeds are, please click here to see if you're eligible for a Rogers for Business Internet plan.

You can also speak to a Business Specialist over the phone or via Live Chat for more info. To call, chat or schedule a call back please check out the contact information on the Internet | Rogers for Business page.

I've been here awhile

Even 50 mbps is disappointing when the download speeds can be up to 1 Gbps...

Re: Business internet at home?

I agree but as of right now Rogers is the only game in my area and any little bit would help.

Re: Business internet at home?

Hi @RogersZia

Thanks for your reply. I've been informed that Rogers will only activate business internet from a business address. Can you confirm whether this is the case?

Thanks

Re: Business internet at home?

Hello, @jcoll83ca.

Thank you for your follow-up post. I tried my home address by going to the Business Portal and get the following: Great news! Rogers Business Internet is available for this address. Do you get the same result?

Have you reached out to a Business Specialist? If you could scroll down on the Business Portal, at the bottom, there are three options provided to reach a Business Specialist.

Regards,

RogersMoin
