Red Wireless

Dkenn
I've been around

Hello,

I was advised to reach out to a red wireless with the phone number 1 888 819 1007 to upgrade my existing phone and plan with a VIP discount through my employer. The representative asked for my drivers Licence number and visa information. Just to confirm, this authorized dealer is legit and these practices are standard?

Thank you,
David

Good afternoon @Dkenn,

Welcome to the Community!

It's great you've reached out to verify before sharing your personal or financial info over the phone. Red Wireless is a Rogers Wireless Authorized Dealer and the number you've posted above is the designated contact number to get in touch with the team. Depending on the transaction type and verification parameters they can obtain your DL and CC information for authenticating purposes or to set up an order.

Hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions or concerns :).

Re: Red Wireless

Good morning @gnanabk!

Red Wireless is an authorized Rogers dealer.

However, it does not redirect to another URL for me. You may have malware affecting your browser if you're seeing a redirect.

I would recommend scanning your computers/devices to ensure you don't have malware hijacking your browser.

Regards,

RogersCorey
