Double charged for Business Accounts

I've been here awhile

I am being charged for my old closed account 2******0 and new account 5******5 at the same time.

I was with Roger’s on 3 years contract for business internet which is supposed to end on feb1 2024. I called them on dec 8 2024 to discontinue my service after that but the representative over there offered me with new offer which is 5 dollar more on my previous promotion price which was 50 plus tax . She said no change in billing cycle no extra charge just 5 extra dollars plus tax. I agreed then after 1 month I saw 165.99 bill. I called them they came up with their stories like old account new account , one time charge blah blah. I wasted my 3 hours with 4 people and finally they agreed bill is charged extra and they assured me nothing will be wrong in future but as on Jan 11 2025 I am seeing transactions for old account and new account as well with a new rate which was 124.99 and 62.15 for two different accounts. I got no notification or no bill for 62.15 which was for old account.

I am sorry but we are unable to provide support for business customers over this forum. We can only work with consumer accounts here.

 

You will have to reach out to the business department directly via one of the methods found in the link I provided. I understand the wait is not ideal but that department is the only department that can assist you with your concern.

I called your billing section on Friday as they told me the refund will be back within 72 hrs and it will reflect on my account but it’s over 80 hours nothing has been done yet

Thank you for letting us know, @pawanliveca. We operate on business hours. If it was done on Friday, 72 business hours would fall into Wednesday of this week.

 

You should receive it by the end of the day on Wednesday.
