Could not be more dissatisfied with Rogers.

I've been here awhile

I originally had reached out to Rogers to ask if there were any promotions available for me to decrease the amount that I was paying on a monthly basis in order to save money. I was advised that I would be possibly eligible to join it preferred pricing program based on where I work, after finding out I was eligible I was then told that I would have to pay $50 in order to become part of this preferred pricing program, however I would receive $25 off my bills moving forward. 2 months goes by and I have noticed that my money has been taken to pay for this preferred pricing program, however I was not seeing a discount on my bills. I was out $50 for no reason. I then reached out to Rogers to find out what was going on with my discount, I was then told that the specialist at the time was supposed to give me a list of deals made available to me after buying into the preferred pricing program, however I was not made aware of any of these deals that were to change my plan. I simply lost $50 after trying to save money with Rogers. After contacting Rogers I was told that there were other plans available for me in the preferred pricing program, however quite literally every single package even with the $25 off was more expensive than the plan that I currently had. After telling multiple agents that I did not need more data, they were constantly trying to upsell me, or constantly trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. I then asked if I could simply have my $50 back or credited to my account, which I was told was impossible to do. So essentially at this point after trying to save money, I have been absolutely taken advantage of, spent more money, and only offered deals that ended up costing me more money in the end.

I cannot wait for my contract with Rogers to end, I will never do business with them again. I will also be taking my parents internet and cell phones off of Rogers and moving to any company who's willing to be honest, work with integrity, and show respect to their customers. I am not somebody to ever complain about customer service, and I genuinely understand how businesses work. But I cannot get over how absolutely deplorable and disrespectful this company has made me feel.

I am terribly disappointed to learn about your experience with Rogers. Based on the info you've shared it seems like you were billed the one time fee for the Rogers Preferred Pricing plans but you weren't immediately offered the right plan and neither were any discounts added to your line.

 

While I would love to rectify this for you, I do want to let you know that we can only offer you plans that are currently in-market and compatible with RPP. Please let us know if you'd like us to review your account for you.
