Collection Calls & Emails and I DONT even have Rogers Services. NEVER have!

I've been around

I ordered a phone from Rogers as a new customer but it was out of stock so Rogers cancelled my order and refunded my $672 deposit. I did not sign a contract or set up an services with Rogers. Little did I know that my nightmare was just beginning. 

Just 2 weeks later to my dismay I started getting calls and emails from Rogers Credit Operations that I had a past due bill of $672.

I have since called Rogers EVERY DAY (16+ hours on the phone) to get to get this fixed and I have failed. Once I had to wait 2.5 HOURS to speak to someone. I have never waited less than 1 hour. 
Credit Operations passed me on to Customer Service, who passed back to Credit Operations, who then sent me back to Customer Service. Customer Service then sent over to Retention and they said they couldn't help me and passed on back to Customer Service who hang up! I'm so grateful that I did not set up any services with Rogers and I feel so sorry for their existing customers. When this saga is over and they acknowledge that I actually don't owe them any money, I'll stay as far away as possible from Rogers! They recently merged with Shaw, my current internet service provider and I'm going to cancel at the earliest opportunity! If anyone from Rogers is on here to actually read this stuff and take action, you need to report back to your leaders. You customers feel like they are treated like dirt and potential new customers are being driven off in droves!
