I’ve been trying to reach Roger’s by phone but have been disconnected twice after spending over 40 minutes on hold each time. I just returned from a month in SE Asia and while I was away my credit card was compromised. My bank immediately deleted my card due to fraudulent charges. On Dec 1 I received an email from Roger’s saying my CC payment had been rejected. I immediately paid the bill online and it was posted Dec 4. Today I received my bill with a $70 service charge on it. I’ve spent most of the morning trying to reach someone to explain the situation and to have the service charge reversed. I’d appreciate it if someone from Roger’s could please contact me so we can resolve this issue. Thank you.

Good afternoon @DLG1954!
It sounds to me like you've been charged a Setup Service Fee, as that is the only $70 fee that springs immediately to my mind. The Setup Service Fee is one-time fee that applies to new activations, bring your own device, and device upgrades.
We'd be happy to take a closer look to see what is going on! If you've been incorrectly charged, we can work with you to get it reversed. Please feel free to send a private message to @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, you can find out more here.

Hi Corey
Thanks for getting back to me. The $70 was a returned payment charge. As I explained in my first post my CC was compromised and the bank cancelled it. I received an email from Rogers informing me and paid the bill through online banking the next day. I don't think this fee is justified or fair given I had no control over my credit card being reissued. To make matters worse it all happened while I was travelling in SE Asia. If you can have this charge reversed I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks

I can absolutely sympathize with you here. It's no fun juggling bills while you're travelling abroad.
