Account changes without permission

DAV-R
I've been here awhile

I was dealing with a rep yesterday, strictly told her that I was only inquiring about a potential upgrade as well as a 3rd additional line with possible financing. Long story short I had to get back to work and requested that our discussion be quoted and sent to my email. About an hour later I saw an email from Roger’s advising me of my “changes”— the sale was null and void and I was insulted at the fact that despite making it very clear I do not want to make changes today, she still went ahead and tried to secure her commission at my expense. What’s worse I called back this morning looking for Roger’s to make it up to me to keep my business, they simply had nothing they could offer me. I don’t know how many years I’ve been with Roger’s now but they’ve pushed a little too far now.

Last month they sent me an email saying I’m about to lose some credits due to an error. Should’ve seen how fast they backtracked when I called in because that info was false and made in bad faith. They fixed that issue and I didn’t ask for any additional compensation but now it seems as though they just don’t appreciate our business. I’m over it.

Couldn’t even lodge a formal complaint with the manager over the phone, I was directed to file it online. Sounds like a bunch of people with jobs who don’t want to work while trying to slide as many deals for themselves through to fatten up the bonus. It’s sickening and I wasn’t expecting all this from a company I really enjoyed being with.

I kindly requested that they charge me the balance of my currently financed phone so that I’m free to go when I’m ready. Congratulations guys, you’ve played yourselves. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I understand that you're looking for a better deal. If you've recently paid off your device, you would now be eligible for our BYOD plans which can be quite affordable.

I would recommend that you check out our available offers again. Please feel free to send a private message to @CommunityHelps so we can have a look for you. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, you can find out more here.

I don’t think it gets any better than 32$ a month on my line. The fact that you’ll only address me having paid off my phone is gross.

Care to address the sneaky sale you just tried to push down my throat? Or we gonna talk about another sale like you’re suggesting.

I was paying over 140$ monthly on two lines and a watch and I was quite content. Was just looking at options and though I made that super clear in the recording I have of the conversation and reiterated before disconnecting the call, all of a sudden that’s a green light for your agent to close her sale without me agreeing to anything. Go ahead and defend that.

If you rather make it right tell me what you’re gonna do for me. You have my number.

Re: Account changes without permission

We do not have any of our customer's numbers on hand @DAV-R, it would be a violation of your privacy is we had easy access to such information. We would first have to gather your account information securely in private before we could access your account.

If you'd like to make a formal complaint about the previous agent that made changes to your account and you haven't already submitted it online through this link: Rogers: Resolve Your Concern then I would be happy to take in your complaint. I had assumed that you had already submitted it, I apologize if I have assumed incorrectly.
