Volume Issues

I’m unable to control the volume on my Ignite remote. The volume is stuck at 0. When I press the volume button to increase the volume, the numbers move higher and the volume increases. The second I take my finger off the volume button, the numbers roll back to 0. I’ve reset the audio control and replaced the batteries. TV was working fine earlier but our15 month old nephew had the remote and the TV remote in his hands. He may have pressed buttons.

It sounds to me like the child has gummed up the volume down button so that it is stuck.  You may be able to clean the remote to "unstick" it. If that doesn't work, you may be able to exchange the remote at a Rogers store for a working remote. Call beforehand to see if they have stock. They may replace it for free.

That was my thought.. the button is stuck or something spilled into it, causing a short on the down volume button.
