We had a area outage yesterday and it took some time before the service was restored.
This morning the connection seems to lag on all wired/wireless devices.
looking at the modem signals, I see that I only have 2 downstream channels listed:

I opened a ticket yesterday but my service is still wonky. How do I get this resolved?

Greetings @Alex4161!
After troubleshooting with you in private, we're curious if the issue is fully resolved.
Have you experienced any further issues since we last spoke?
Regards,
RogersCorey

We've had very spotty internet service for over a year (300mps plan). Connection comes and goes, and often when there is a connection the latency/jitter is so bad that most sites will time out on you. Wait times on chat have been over an hour (I always disconnect). Today, I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. I advised of issue and also advised my current 12 month "price" was up and I needed to know what Rogers could do for the next 12 months. They kept me another 30 mins and came back and said I could keep same package (internet/TV/digital phone) but "unfortunately" cost would be an amount that is 40% more than Im paying. So I set cancellation date and asked for a credit for the atrocious internet service. They said they would need to transfer me to tech to see if I was eligible. THey then disconnected. Customer for ~20 years. I'm ashamed I let it drag on so long.

Hi. Yes, after waiting for several hours, I rebooted the modem again and solid the channels appeared.
