I've been here awhile

Hi, i recently signed up for internet and did a self install. My internet is randomly disconnecting ,are the signal levels within spec or is something else causing the disconnections? thanks

Hi @Chrism81,

 

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums, and thank you for your first post. I do want to congratulate you on getting the new services and for completing the installation on your own.

 

From the results you posted, your signal levels appear to be in spec. Are you able to post the full table, which will include the upstream as well?


Also, if you can answer some of these questions, we can be able to troubleshoot and assist you further.

 

  • When you lose connection, do you notice any change in the LED light pattern?
  • Are you noticing the disconnection of all devices inside the home?
  • Are your devices hardwired to the modem, or are you only using wireless?
  • Do you have any splitters connected to the coaxial cable connected to the modem?

I've been here awhile

The modem is located in the basement so i cant tell the light colour , but we do lose connection to all the devices.Everything is wireless with no splitters connected to the line .
