I have tried unsuccessfully to connect the email from the scanner to the rogers SMTP. I keeps keeps cancelling with error 450-not allowing access to email. My settings on the scanner are as follows:
SMTP Primary Gateway smtp.broadband.rogers.com
Port 465
SSL/TLS Required
smtp server Authentication Login/Plain
Device userid myemailaddress@rogers.com
Device user password my email password
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have tried that without success, still get same error message 450.

If this is like sending an e-mail, check out the following thread where some of us had issues with sending (not receiving).
Most of us got the issue resolved by PM'ing the Mods on this forum.
Make sure all your settings are OK - see link below:
