I am experiencing internet disruptions daily--all occur in the afternoon and evening, usually after 3pm. Although it does not last long, these disruptions are constant and repeating from about 2 to 5 or 6 times daily. No problems indicated by Rogers, but this is an ongoing issue.

Ditto. I was grateful my tv warned me so I wouldn't lose the email I was drafting yesterday. I had this happen to me all the time about 15 years ago working from home. Rogers didn't care then, I doubt it changed.

Good Day @Kadam77!
Congrats on your first post with us! 🙌 I know how imperative it is to have a consistent and stable Internet connection, and dealing with connectivity drops can be rather bothersome. 😥 I do have a few questions for you in hopes of getting down to the bottom of this:
Are the drops occuring while connected to WiFi or Ethernet?
Are you experiencing issues with all devices or select one(s)?
Where is the modem located in your home, is it in a central location?
What is the light pattern of the modem when the drop occurs?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
RogersJo

Hi RogersJo,
Thank you, please see my responses below:
Are the drops occuring while connected to WiFi or Ethernet? Wifi
Are you experiencing issues with all devices or select one(s)? all--laptop, tablet and phones and the TV
Where is the modem located in your home, is it in a central location? yes, the devices are being used in the same room as the modem
What is the light pattern of the modem when the drop occurs? I have not noticed, but will keep an eye on this next time it goes down
Thank you

Good evening @Kadam77,
Thank you for your responses. For troubleshooting purposes it's best that you contact us while the issue is happening. It makes it easier to pinpoint what's causing the service issues.

Right--your colleague above asked questions of me which I have answered.....the outages only last minutes, so there is never enough time to get through to you when it is happening.....very short outages occurring several times a day, every day.

Good morning @Kadam77!
If you're losing service momentarily and the light pattern is not changing, then it may not be related to an outage in the area. We will need to troubleshoot further.

As luck would have it, we finally did get ours fixed---turns out both our hub and our wiring was old--tech replaced the ends of the wiring (connectors) both inside the house and out to the green box in our front yard. Knock on wood, this seems to be working so far.

and also tech said he could see how often our connection was dropping--it was 10 times as much as the rest of the folks in our neighbourhood, we had over 200 drops in a month.
