Router delivered to wrong address

arielgarayp
I've been around

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to get some help or advice in a situation. I signed up for Rogers Ignite home internet earlier this month, September 2024. They were supposed to send me the router with Purolator, but the Purolator deilvery person delivered to the wrong address. I realized this because the picture that the delivery person uploaded to the tracking website is not my aparment, but it is another aparment with the same number as mine.

I live in Toronto, say, at 213 Building St, apartment 734, and the delivery person went to the wrong building, next door, at 222 Bulding St, apartment 734. I contacted Rogers and they told me to contact Purolator. I did call them one week ago and they created an investigation, I called them today Sept 14 and they told me the case was closed, it was concluded that Purolator made some mistake, and they told me to call Rogers. Rogers said they need to open another ticket and contact Purolator about the situation.

This entire process has been very frustrating. I've been almost two weeks without home internet. I'm just wondering, has someone else gone through the same situation? How was it solved to you? And is there any Rogers person that can give me any advice?

Thank you for your help.

@arielgarayp This is Rogers' problem to resolve.  They shipped the equipment and they used Purolator to deliver it.

I would send a private message to @CommunityHelps and ask them for assistance.  Someone at Rogers needs to resolve the (mis)delivery issue with Purolator and Rogers needs to get a modem to you ASAP so that you can activate your Internet service.
