My ignite box wont stay connected. Works for about 5-10 mins and disconnects.

Are you running in a standard, Rogers-supported configuration, with the Ignite set-top box connected by Wi-Fi to the Ignite gateway or is your STB connecting through 3rd-party Wi-Fi gear?

RDK-03117 is a weird error (see here for the official explanation) that could be caused by a number of different things. The last time that I saw it, years ago, Rogers was making network configuration changes in my area that required a modem/gateway reset. I power-cycled my Ignite gateway and everything started working again. (IIRC, I ran into that error again and again for the next few days, restarted my gateway each time to fix it, then never saw that error ever again since.)
