Hello, @Brendan986.
Thank you for joining this conversation, and welcome to Rogers Community Forums.
Poor signal outdoors can be inconvenient; when was the last time you had a strong signal? Is this poor signal occurring at a specific location?
You can check the network status and complete the troubleshooting for poor signal by following the steps listed on our Wireless Troubleshooting support portal.
If a ticket submission is still required, we can happily do it for you. Please send us a private message at @CommunityHelps. You can find details about our private messaging in this blog.
Cheers,
RogersMoin

Cellular data coverage in Britt Ontario
Hello. I wonder how to get Rogers to improve there coverage in my area. For about 3 weeks now I have been unable to connect to the internet from my cell. When I call rogers tech support they tell me there's nothing wrong just too many users in the area. I would have thought that if there were too many users and it couldn't keep up. That would be a problem. But no not to rogers. So when I try to ask if this is something they plan on addressing. They don't know. Who do you get ahold of to get this looked in to?? And I don't want to here wait and see when the summers over. I pay for a service I think I should get to use it. Thanks. I know I'm not the only one with this problem

Hello @bafdFISH,
Thanks for joining us in the Rogers Community forums and congrats on your first post here! 🙂
I understand that you've been experiencing a less than stellar internet connection on your wireless device. I can certainly see how that would be disappointing. May I please clarify a few items with you?
- Is the issue happening specifically when using your wireless data service? Or is this when you are on WiFi?
- Are your other wireless services (talk and text) working well?
- Where is this issue happening? (Eg: Home, Work, etc.)
If not already done, I would recommend checking out this page which has helpful info on how to check your network status and troubleshoot your issue further.
If you are confident that the issue is at Rogers end (network related), you may also download/launch the MyRogers app on your device and go to Support > MyNetwork to report an issue.
I hope this is helpful!

As of September 2020 I have not able to make ongoing or get incoming phone calls at my cottage. Have have 3 bars of LTE can text, surf the internet, get my emails, etc but no phone service. I have a buddy who was sitting next to me with Rogers doing a 45 mins conference call. Same phone, same ext-Rogers service. But mine will not work. I’ve reset network settings, nothing. Check settings - they seem the same. Tired restarting my phone. Multiple times, nothing. No dial tone, no ringing. Anyone who calls me it goes straight to voice mail.
And of course I can’t call Rogers, to troubleshoot. When I called last time from home they said you need to be in the area with the issue… we’ll I’m here for a week with no phone again. Of course today Rogers support says no text help support available.
Frustrating to say the least…

When I tried to report no coverage using the instructions mentioned further up this thread, and I pressed the report button, nothing happened except a white screen. It never asked me to enter anything, and i could only press the back button in the app to get back to a useable place.
Does this mean that no report can be submitted? Or does it mean that a report was stored and will be sent when network coverage is resumed? There's a ton of dead zones in places where I go, but I haven't been able to report them.

Hello, @sparkycivic.
Thank you for taking the time out to report the problem. Your data should work to report the problem. When you tap the report button, you’ll be prompted to enter your cell number and need to select the date, time, service, etc., which is not working.
Our technical teams will review your feedback to identify and resolve service issues. Our planning teams will also review your feedback to prioritize future network enhancements.
Cheers,
RogersMoin

Hi,
Wait... so I need network to make a report but... I can't make a report because the network doesn't reach me. How will they ever find out that the place has no network?!?

Lol. Report it in an area where you DO have service. Then mention the specific area where you had problems.

Hello. Hoping someone from Rogers (preferably a product manager) can chime in with some info on when Rogers is going to upgrade their cellular infrastructure inside Caesar’s Windsor casino and Devonshire mall? I was just there with my family this weekend and was absolutely shocked to see that signal and performance inside these two locations is still VERY poor.
There are large sections of the casino where signal is either non existent (“no service”) or EDGE (2G)…yes you read that correctly…2G!
Devonshire mall is a bit better. Rogers devices get LTE but signal strength is weak and devices drop to 3G (sometimes no signal at all) in several locations throughout the mall.
I’m not looking for someone to tell me to report this through the network aid app or anything like that. I’m hoping someone can provide some useful info as to when these locations will finally get adequate service. FYI - Rogers claims there should 5G service throughout Windsor but our Rogers devices can barely hold onto LTE (even 3G) as I’ve indicated above. When looking at a 3rd party cell tower map, it’s clear why service is terrible in these locations - there is no indoor cellular infrastructure inside Devonshire mall and the casino apparently still only has 2G indoor infrastructure.
Just for comparison purposes, Bell and Telus have had full LTE coverage in both of these locations for years.
