How can I check to see if my TV works with IGNITE TV

Yup they will work. Some have even used a HDMI to component converter and it works. 

The minimum resolution with HDMI is 720p. Max is 2160p60 (4k) on the Rogers X6i TV box.

Just be aware that RCA tv's are having issues with Ignite. A firmware update appears to have caused an issue where you can't watch TV.

Certain brands of TV's do not play well with Ignite TV. I can say my Hisense is one of them.It usually at least once or twice a day can't see the Ignite box and I have to reboot the box to get it back.The Ignite remote is also not capable of turning the TV off  when it is paired with my sound bar as well.Works fine as long as I don't also pair the soundbar. I changed the box with another and the problem is consistent .
