I've been around

So frustrated! Been a loyal customer of Rogers cable/internet since I moved to Ontario 10 Yrs ago and 25 yrs with rogers cell.

 

Switched to ignite tv last yr. Bundle is up for renewal in December. I just got quoted a 33% increase in price for same services!! Ridiculous! Sorry those incentives or promotions are no longer available.

And so ends a good relationship. Thats insulting.

Promotions and incentives are just that. They are intended to get you to subscribe and are not long term.  There was a time when Rogers (and other providers) would give significant discounts to those who renewed services, however, those days have been gone for several years. 

 

You can try talking to retentions and see what they'll do for you, but don't expect much.  Some people switch providers every couple of years to take advantage of promotional deals, but again, providers no longer continue those incentives and promotions long term.
