Has anyone has this experience? I don't need one of 7 lines anymore, and when I called in to simply cancel the line, I was informed that the charge on the "new" main number would increase to $95/month, and there's nothing that they could do about it! I could source two lines for that cost - and I've always been BYOD, which means that I can freely switch anytime. BTW, this was Retentions, and I was more than happy to retain the other 6 lines - one of which I've had with Rogers since 93. They said the best they could do is to put a note in my file so that someone may reach out when the account is actually cancelled (too late by then, I would think). What's happening with Rogers lately? Has anyone had success in removing just one line and not being charged more?
