I recieved a letter saying Rogers will phase out cable services and my current TV service will no longer be available. To avoid these impacts move to Rogers ignite. Is this true?
I don't want ignite!

So even though my Nextbox devices are going to supposedly stop working some time this year, it still didn't stop Rogers from raising my Digital VIP Cable bill by $3 this month!

I just looked at the list on the Rogers website. Since I have an 8642HD, a 9865HD, and a 4642HD and none of them are on the list, does that mean I am okay for now? I would think so, since they just raised my fees by $3/month.

@allanp : Although you may be OK for now, it probably won't be long until legacy digital cable is totally shut down. You can wait until the end or migrate to IgniteTV at your convenience.
