Good day @Retro2 ,
Thanks for joining us in the community forums and for sharing your concerns! It sounds like you are having a tough time with getting your wireless account activated. I'm really sorry to hear that. 😞
May I please clarify, where did you get that particular number/extension from? Were you advised by our customer care team that your account was flagged for some type of fraud activity? Did they submit a case to our Fraud team on your behalf? There are times where some additional info is required before we can finish setting up an account, so that may be the case here.
If you are unsure and would like for us to have a look to see what's happening, please do send us a PM @CommunityHelps to get started. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, please check out our blog.
Thank you,
RogersYasmine

I got that number and extension from a Rogers Online Specialist named Chib. As soon as they got my account info they just said "call this number" there is nothing we can do for you. I also tried calling 1-800-588-6718. They advised they I go to a Rogers Wireless location. So I went to a location in Lethbridge and the associates/manager at that store had no answers/help for my as well. In my original order I got Iphone 14 plus, but now that iphone 15s have come down in price I would like to switch phones. Im not mad or anything, just be nice to get some answers, its a bad look for a first time customer. I sent a PM with some other details

I just want to update everyone and let them know my current situation. Its been 10 days since I signed up with Rogers Mobile and my account was immediately cancelled that same day. Anyone I chat with or talk to via regular customer service just says "we can't help you, call Fraud Management". Fraud Management has been called almost 100 times. They will not pick up there phones or respond to voicemail, or contact you in any way for updates.
The irony behind all this is no fraud has happened. I issued my ID and had my background check. The only fraud taking place right now is by Fraud Management themselves. Im just lucky I still have a phone for x amount of days from my previous provider. But this is the biggest run-around situation that I've ever been through.
