I migrated from Shaw one month ago. According to everything I was told and have read about the migration offer, my plan was supposed to be $30/month and would continue as I was a customer prior to migrating. Somehow, my account is being considered as a new activation and I received a double charge from what I was told by an online agent in the chat. I had been informed that my billing was noy supposed to be different according to the migration guidlines from the CCTS and my bill was supposed to remain the same as it was prior to migtating. I would like to know why I received a higher bill and would like it rectified.

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving day, @dadvader27 !
When migrating customers over from Shaw to Rogers for their mobile services, you should be moved to a Rogers Mobile plan equivalent to the one you have with Shaw, with a price guarantee effective until April 3, 2028.
By any chance, have you gotten the opportunity to chat with someone from our Customer Support teams, by phone, Live chat or via Social Media? If not, we'd be happy to look at your billing details, and confirm the features and pricing of your Rogers plan with you. 🙂
You may send us a private message to @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, please check out our blog.
Thank you!

I just went through the same deal. I ordered my migration sim cards from Rogers recived them. I waited for my daugther to come home from vacation. I tried phoning to perform migration told to phone during business hours. I thought to my self I have holidays booked soon I'll just do it then. Well geuss what i got. I got to pay a bill from shaw and then another bill from Rogers for reciving the sim card not activated not using them for 4 weeks but i get to pay for just having them at my house for a 4 weeks. So I get to pay Shaw (Rogers now) for a month on 3 lines and get to pay Rogers again for the same 3 lines. So i got double billed for a month for 3 lines. I really am loving the Rogers take over. They really now how to treat customers.

I thought that our billing was supposed to be like we were existing customers not new ones. That is what was explained to me. I had left Rogers years ago for reasons just like this. I dont think the merger was the best thing for consumers
