Question about using the Ignite Remote

So with the old digital setup and remote, I could punch in the numbers of the channel I wanted, wait a few seconds, and it would switch to that channel.  This new remote doesn't do that, it will sit there until I press the OK button.  Is there something in the settings that will change this so it does go to that channel on it's own.  Or, can I speak the channel number and have it change to that channel...if so what do I say...would I just say the channel number "three eight nine" or "channel three eight nine".

Sorry nothing in the settings will change that. Just press the channel number, press ok.

Yes you say the channel number or channel name. 

Say..."fox". "Channel 12"
