Network Question

gordow
I plan to stick around

My wife and I picked up a new phone each about a month ago, Motorola Edge 2022, and she has her own cell plan and I have mine.
When you go into settings/network and Internet/Internet on my phone it shows "Rogers LTE+" but on my wife's phone it shows "Rogers 3G"
I'm wondering why both phones aren't showing at least LTE+ or 5g?
Right now they're side by side with those two different numbers.
I've checked each setting on the two phones and they both seem to be the same.

Any ideas?

It turns out there was a block on my wife's plan that held it at 3g, they've removed the block.
I wonder why one line had a block and not the other.
Before getting our new phones she had a S7 and I had a S8, could the reason be the age of her old phone?

its possible you do not have the 4G or 5G access on your plan? go and check up on your plan to see if 4G or 5G is included in the plan, if not ask how much more you need to pay for access or change to a newer plan which includes 5G access.
