5G in southwest London

Hawkwyndca
I've been around

I've had my Rogers/Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for about a month. Until yesterday January 23rd, I'd never seen the 5G icon indicator for cell coverage. Always just LTE. Yesterday at about 9:30pm we lost Rogers TV Cable, Homephone and internet. While looking at my phone to diagnose the cable outage I suddenly noticed the 5G cell coverage indicator! With (broken) WiFi turned off,  I did several Speedtests, and got 100mbps download speeds. Over cell! The wired cable outage lasted until sometime after midnight. This morning, Monday, Rogers cable TV, Homephone and internet are working fine. But no more 5G! My question: Was there an attempted 5G implementation Sunday that broke Rogers Cable and had to be backed out?

***Update at 12:30pm Monday - 5G is back! And Rogers Cable etc is working fine. Fingers crossed it stays stable.  🙂
