iPad App Logs Out

I am constantly having to log back into my Ignite TV App. I am using the same iPad and in the same location, however 2-3 times a week when I open my iPad, I find myself logged out of the App. How can I just stay logged on?

I am also having this issue. I updated my iPad to 17.5.1 and it still persists. In my case it happens at least 2 to 3 times per show I watch. Rogers need to fix this, or it's back to bell!

I am also having the same problem running an iPad six generation using 17.5.1. It was never an issue before, but I’ve been signed out four times in the last hour and a half and have had to sign back in only to get cutoff again shortly after. I’ve tried a variety of things from rebooting to reloading the app, etc., I moved to my iphone 13 running 17.5.1 (not ideal viewing screen), It’s been stable for the last 15 minutes

I can confirm that this issue is now occurring on my sister’s iPhone 13. The problem just began this morning. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app did not fix the problem. It logs her out almost every 10 minutes. I’ve looked at everything I can think of to fix this. There are only the two of us using the app. This place is my last hope. I have iPhone 15 pro max. At the moment Ignite TV still works for my phone. I’m at home on wifi. She is in hospital using their wifi. We both have Norton antivirus and vpn. The VPN needs to be turned off for the app to work normally. It’s switched off on both iPhones. We need an answer to this. It’s obvious a problem for more than one person. It’s time the ignite app got a design upgrade anyway.

I’ve reached out to the support that was suggested above and I’m still at the same point. Sometimes it works for hours. Sometimes it kicks me out and returns all downloads within minutes, rendering the app basically useless. I can’t even watch something in airplane mode on a flight within Canada. Not acceptable. And don’t blame it on Apple - you need to update the app to make it work with their requirements, not the other way around.

Often times the Ignite TV app will randomly sign me out and then when I sign back in, all of the shows I’ve downloaded are returned. This happens long before reaching the 30-day limit for the shows I’ve downloaded. This is especially frustrating as I’m often travelling outside of Canada and the only way to view content outside of Canada is to download it before leaving the country.

I tried contacting Rogers through Facebook Messenger about this problem and they weren’t any help at all which unfortunately I’ve found to be quite on brand from past experience. I’m using a 2022 model iPhone SE. I have the latest iOS 17.6.1 and I’m using the latest version of the Ignite TV app, 7.15.1. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
