MyRogers activated my microphone in the background for 9 seconds

Hi there; sorry for my delay. But I was requested to post this there, that the MyRogers app activated my microphone for 9 seconds while running in the background. I was wondering why it would do that?
I downloaded an app called AntiStalker from the PlayStore and it monitors and reports on any and all apps that activate the camera and microphone.

It is very strange that the app would activate your microphone on its own. We'll need a bit more information before we can determine what caused this.

• Were you recently using the app before this happened?
• Was the app completely closed off or was it still running in one of your tabs?
• What type of device are you using?
• What is the app version on your device?
• What were you doing on the device when the microphone activated?
