So I've been trying to figured out why switching to Rogers from Fido has been a terrible experience.
I've had pings go from 1s to 3s and a bunch of packet loss for hours on end at night time. I had no previous issues with Fido.
Tech came out last Friday and swapped filters, cable and the modem. Still experiencing the same problems.
Second hop is sometimes over 200ms (CMTS node issue?)
I'm trying to get LevelII support to help me out here, but while I wait on hold I was wondering what infrastructure is different from Fido to Rogers?

Unfortunately, Tech Support was no assistance. Level1 support wanted to send another tech out, which I refused. I had no option to escalate the issue either as I was told that there's no one available at this time of day (9:20pm)?

It's really weird behaviour. Running a constant ping and it'll be fine for a while and then take a dump..
