I've been a long time customer and I've seen this consistently happening where my internet speeds are slowed by incremental amounts over time. I am not saying this is necessarily intentional, but something like 5-6 months ago I paid extra to have speeds of up to 1.5GB internet. I consistently down below 250MBPS now. I've done all of the usual requests from Rogers to reset my router, etc. But this is slower and slower and slower. I honestly don't know what to do about this any more but with how much I pay per month this is beyond rough. I work from home and this is a major issue. This morning I was down to 7MBPS... when resetting my router I got it up close to 200. With video calls massive upload and downloads every day and three kids all wanting to use the internet this simple isn't enough. When first installed I was over 900MBPS. Anyone else have this issue? Thoughts on fixes?

A gradual decrease in the speed over time can be troubling. Various factors can contribute to slow speeds.

I am checking speeds on wireless machines from multiple areas in my home. The modem is in our exercise room and has not moved since installation. There is a network extender from I think d-link. Slow speeds occur seemingly random times every day. Random drops throughout the day. I’ve tried resetting my modem many times and it seems as if it increases the speed for short periods of time.

If you have a third party extender from D-Link, that may be the culprit behind your random drops and slow speeds.
Since we can only offer you direct troubleshooting support for Rogers equipment, I would suggest that you try removing your D-Link extender temporarily and connect directly to our modem to see if there's any improvement.
