Does anyone know why the number 4 ethernet port has an orange bar beside it?

That's because it is a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port; the others are 1 GigE.  Port 4 is also special because it can be used as a WAN port, for connection to an external ONT in Fiber-to-the-Home installations.

@WeidS that port is a 2.5 Gb/s port which will support Rogers 1/5 Gb/s plan and probably the 2.5 Gb/s plan as well.  Of course you need a device, pc, router, switch etc with a multi-gig port, 2.5 Gb/s and/or higher to really be able to use the modem's port 4 (2.5 Gb/s).
