Am previous Shaw Gateway customer. Forced to merge with Rogers. Forced to 'upgrade' to Ignite.
Nothing but major problems with Ignite TV. Shaw Gateway could install/load Spotify. Ignite at this point cannot install/load Spotify. Huh? Is'nt Ignite the 'latest. greatest"? Cannot load, add, install Spotify?
Ignite is more like a downgrade.

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the transition from Shaw Gateway to Ignite TV. We understand your frustration with the issues you have encountered, particularly the inability to launch Spotify on Ignite TV.
When you use the voice command, Spotify, the app should open for you. Another option is going to Apps and selecting Spotify to launch it.
From your other posts, I understand you have rebooted the gateway and the TV boxes; I suggested contacting tech support to submit a ticket.

RogerMoin, Just tried voice command. Spotify..Nope...Does not work. I have contacted Rogers Tech support and told them that Spotify cannot be accessed, loaded, listened, added to Ignite apps.

ps Rogers tech said that Spotify is not one of the apps that is available on Ignite.

Wow. I have two Ignite boxes. I use voice command: Play Spotify and the response is Sorry, something went wrong. Try again soon. This response occurs on both boxes.
